Apple’s iPhone repair app, which lets you order iPhone models at your convenience, is getting a makeover with the launch of an iOS 11 version.
The iOS 11 update brings Apple’s popular iPhone repair program up to date, and lets users take advantage of a variety of new features including the ability to view and manage your AppleCare+ and AppleCare Pro insurance policies, as well as AppleCare support for all iPhone models.
Users can now view and edit insurance policies on the iPhone, as the new update includes support for AppleCare, as did the previous update.
AppleCare Plus, a special premium AppleCare Plus membership that provides AppleCare protection for up to a year, is also getting an update, as is AppleCare and Apple Pay.
All the major carriers, including Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile, will soon offer AppleCare coverage, with a few notable exceptions, such as Verizon Wireless, which has no AppleCarePlus coverage at all.
AppleCare offers a simple, yet robust coverage plan that lets users cover up to $250 in accidental damages per year and $500 in claims per year.
Apple’s iPhone Repair app has long been available for purchase on the App Store, but the latest version is the first to integrate iOS 11’s new features.
Users can order their iPhone for repair via the app or on the iTunes App Store.
The app also supports iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models, and it can display repair prices for the AppleCare plans.
